JANUARY
Winter Pueblo Feast Days and Dances [Various Fall & Winter Dates]
Winter Pueblo feast days and dances held at Indian pueblos surrounding Santa Fe are open to visitors.
FEBRUARY
Souper Bowl [February 1, 2014]
Sample amazing soups prepared by several dozen of Santa Fe’s finest chefs, then cast your vote for your favorites. This annual soup competition also includes a silent auction and benefits the Food Depot. Purchase tickets in advance by visiting their website.

]
Fine art meets fine dining in this one-of-a-kind event. There are fashion shows, an auction, home tours, and the Edible Art Tour—an evening of gallery hopping with art-inspired nibbles prepared by the area’s finest chefs. ArtFeast benefits art programs for kids.
Santa Fe Restaurant Week [February 23 - March 2, 2014]
Feast on delicious, three-course meals at a fraction of the cost, $25 for two for casual-dining restaurants, and $20, $30 or $40 per person, depending on the restaurant.

Santa Fe Independent Film Festival [October 15-19, 2014]

Historic Canyon Road Paint Out [October 6, 2014]
Paint Out continues a tradition of painting “en plein air” that began a century ago, on fabled Canyon Road, when artists first arrived with early settlers.
Abiquiu Studio Tour
Abiquiú, US Highway 84/285, 18 miles northwest of Española
More than 70 artists welcome visitors to their studios in this annual tour. You’ll see paintings, weavings, furniture, traditional Spanish Colonial art and much more as you explore the gorgeous place where Georgia O’Keeffe once lived and worked.
NOVEMBER
Ski Santa Fe Open [Exact date dependent on snowfall]
Christmas Tree Lighting on the Plaza [Friday after Thanksgiving]
Festivities include live entertainment, a speech from the Mayor, and a special visit from Santa Claus. The tree lighting will be around 6:00 pm at the Santa Fe Plaza.
DECEMBER
Las Posados
Join Mary and Joseph in this reenactment of their search for lodging to give birth to baby Jesus. The procession ends at the Palace of the Governors courtyard with carols and refreshments.
Canyon Road Faralito Walk [Starts around dusk December 24, 2014]
This beloved Christmas Eve tradition lights up the heart and soul, as thousands of people stroll this famous road, which is decorated with farolitos (small, sand-filled bags with votive candles) and luminarias (bonfires). The joyous sounds of carols and friends and families greeting each other fills the air.
